Holy moly. Where has the summer gone?

July is half way over, and I just counted that I have three more weeks of summer and that is seriously depressing. Oh and guess what, I haven’t gotten a single thing on my to-do list done. I have a tub full of clothes that I need to post to poshmark. KB’s closet needs a serious clean out, because that kid is growing like a weed. I think I just need an intern…ha.

But in all seriousness, it has been a hot minute since I have had a down to earth, genuine post on here because the past few weeks have been crazy. It seems like life gets crazier the older you get. I always thought it would be the opposite, but it definitely hasn’t been. I can honestly say that this has been such a great summer with my guys. We have traveled all over the state of Texas, finally went and did some things in the DFW area that we always said we wanted to do, made time for ourselves, and finally got to just spend some days at home.

Football season kicks off in approximately 18 DAYS! I am so excited but can’t believe that the busiest season of our lives is already here. This is H’s last week off until WE go to coaching school. After that they go back to work planning and getting ready for the new season.

I am not going to lie. I am VERY nervous about this season. I have selfishly been able to sit down for the past six seasons, watch the game, and take pictures without any distractions. I am very nervous about having a toddler and bringing him to the games. I know that he won’t be able to sit down for four quarters like an adult and I am not the coach’s wife that can miss a minute of the game. So, if anyone has any suggestions on how to handle a very busy toddler, I am open to them!

I know today has been a bunch of rambling, but sometimes I believe that is what y’all want to see here. I know the fashion and the amazon hauls can be annoying so I am happy to vomit on this page and explain to you once again just how crazy life is.

With that being said, thank you all for supporting this little space and following along. I am SO excited to be getting into the season of life that we enjoy the most, and the real reason for the purpose of this blog. Get ready to see some real and raw posts, but also some fun collaborations, and giveaways for some gameday gear!
