2021 Goals Part 2

January 15, 2021

Two posts in one week?! Well look at us go in 2021 already. Earlier this week I reflected on my goals that I set for 2020 (find here) and the progress that I made. The most realistic goal I set for myself is that not every goal would be met and that is exactly what happened. I mean many of you can probably relate to that considering this past year.

We are now three weeks into January and I figured its a good time to share my goals that I have set for this new year. Some I carried over into this year but I tried to set new goals and push some boundaries! I can’t wait to see where this new year takes us!

  1. run 700 miles. yep. i am at it again. i didn’t reach it last year since having mt so this year, it is on!
  2. read 12 books. like i said in the previous blog post, i only read ten last year so this year we will try it one more time!
  3. complete a bible study or join a group. this one is VERY intimidating but i am determined to be better!
  4. complete 1 home project a month. i refuse to keep chickening out on these ideas i want to do in the house. this year will be the year i just do it! been sure to come back in the next few weeks to see what i have up my sleeve!
  5. revamp my blog! it is time to turn this thing professional and this will be a step in the right direction. be on the lookout for a new launch!
  6. have more patience. I am quick to anger. one of my worst traits. I want to be better about this. the boys are starting to watch us and do what we do and I want to be a better example.
  7. work closely with brands. this one relates to the blog and my instagram and you probably won’t understand it much, but having it in writing will help hold me accountable!
  8. save more. pretty cliche but it is never a bad thing to want to save more!
  9. slow down and be grateful. we are always on the go. it is just who we are and the nature of the coaching life. instead of always thinking about our next move, i want to slow down and be grateful for what we have.
  10. keep in touch. call relatives and friends more often. i have no excuses, i just need to be better.

So there you have it! I am excited to get going on these. They may not get touched on every day but it is always a great reminder to be a little bit better each day.

What are your 2021 goals?
