I ended up ordering a handful from Target and Amazon to dissect for you and hopefully give you a little assistance on purchasing one of our least favorite things we must shop for. High Rise Frayed: Wild Fable- Black
You really can’t go wrong with black denim. They are so easy to dress up and even easier to dress down. Add a colorful graphic tee and you are ready to rock this spring.
fit: high waisted. slim through the hips but looser through the leg. the length has great coverage and the frayed style makes them look a little bit longer than what they really are!
High Rise Frayed Denim: Wild Fable- Light Wash
A light wash is another color to have readily available in your closet. I like to pair these with bright colors so that I can really make the lighter shade pop. Sneakers and a colorful pair of sandals are always a great idea for these!
fit: they are very similar to the black pair. they have that slim fit though the hips but the leg is more open making them much more comfortable and relaxed.
High Rise Distressed: Universal Thread- Medium Wash
If you are someone who is not a fan of the frayed look but still want a little edge, get these. The medium wash makes them versatile for any look or any occasion!
fit: i would consider these more of a slim fit. they are a little bit tighter throughout the leg. if you like them a little bit looser, then i would suggest sizing up! they also have a little bit of a stretch to them.
High Rise Mom Jean Cut off: Wild Fable- Medium Wash
if you are looking for a regular, everyday pair…this is your winner!
fit: they have more of a slim fit and not much stretch. i do like these for a more “dressier” pair but if you only want add one pair to your wardrobe, this would be my suggestion!
High Rise Frayed Hem: Wild Fable- Medium Wash
These are my number one pick. I love the way they fit, the wash, and the frayed detail. They are super flattering on and would look great with any kind of outfit.
fit: these are actually the same as the light wash pair above. slim throughout the hips and as you can kind of tell in the picture, they are more relaxed in the leg. perfect for your everyday wear!
