I had a request for some gameday looks from one of my readers. Surprisingly, this has been the hardest one to create. It is tricky to meet the needs of all my readers and gameday goers. You have the college girl who is dressed super cute for tailgating, the coach’s wife who is just trying to survive by this point in the week, an NFL mom or wife who can look super dressed up and wear heels to the game, or the single girl just supporting her favorite team. So instead of trying to tailorr to each individual, I created some looks that can go simultaneously from high school football games all the way to the NFL. I also added a list of shops where you can find the cutest gameday tees and looks!
gameday tee I home is tee I favorite season tee I leopard shorts I shoes I earrings I red earrings
I am using the term summer loosely here. I know that it is not summer during football season, but if you play football in Texas, then you know that majority of the games you attend are hot until October. So for the “summer” gameday look, I incorporated some fun graphic tees that you can dress up with some leopard print shorts. I love an easy pair of black slides, because they dress a casual look up and they are comfortable enough to wear all season long. If you are uncomfortable wearing shorts to a game, you can easily switch the leopard shorts out for some blue or black jeans. I think a nice pair of black joggers would tie the look together as well!
denim jacket I hot coach I striped top I football szn I black jeans I black vans I white vans I blue earrings I orange earrings
When the weather gets a bit cooler, I love to throw on a distressed denim jacket over one of my football tees. You can even add on a striped top that is your school color and add accessories accordingly. I added a pair of black skinnies, my team color earrings, and some easy sneakers. This hits the comfy and cute factor that I am always talking about. You may have noticed the earrings that I have included in each graphic. These are my favorite pair of earrings to wear to the game. They are super lightweight, you can choose your size, they come in different styles, and a TON of colors. When we move, I always make sure that I buy another pair in our new colors!
rain jacket I gold football tee I leggings I blue jeans I hunter rain boots I leopard rain boots I sperry boots I pink boots I gold earrings I gold tear drop earrings
The key to surviving those rainy games is to wear something that will keep you dry. I made the mistake of wearing some slip ons for a game that I literally sat in the pouring rain in and I immediately regretted it. Soon after, I invested in a good pair of rain boots and a rain jacket with a hood. If I know the weather is going to be nasty, I wear just a tee under my jacket and an easy pair of leggings. One day I will get smart and bring wind pants to throw on over my bottoms when the rain picks up. After the amount of rain delays we had last year, you’d think I would be a pro by now.
sherpa vest I football y’all tee I black beanie I pink beanie I over the knee boots I cowboys beanie I gloves I scarf I jeans I leggings
Oh how I LOVE me a cold game. It is just so cozy and so FOOTBALL. I love dressing in the layers and challenging myself to see how much of an oompa loompa I can look like. JK. I really just like wearing leggings, beanies, and a big jacket. My biggest piece of advice here is to dress in LAYERS. That way if it is warmer than what you are expecting, you can always remove some. I have legit worn five layers to a game. We walked in when it was 50 degrees and by the end of the game it was 32 degrees because a cold front had blown in. Sure, I looked ridiculous at first but then I was the smartest person in the stadium. I have included some of my most worn and favorite pieces for the colder games. Over the knee boots and a cute scarf are an easy way to add some layer without really noticing!
bleacher kid I lost tee I coach’s kid I football pants I gameday y’all I dad doesn’t care I green bay tutu set I eagles custom tee I seen my daddy
I had a request for some Green Bay Packer outfits. Sadly, this little tutu outfit was the cutest I could find. You have to keep in mind that you don’t always have to wear the logo or the school colors on the shirt. I love to add those colors in another way by wearing different colored shorts/pants or a bow for a little girl! I always think it is really cute to wear a simple graphic tee and then take it from there! There are SO many cute tees that you can customize for them on Etsy. I also had to add my favorite little football leggings for an infant. KB wore these so many times last year. I wish they still fit him!
I hope that this meets the needs of those requested! I tried my best to hit all of the different groups or readers that I have. Also, a lot of these tees that I included come in different color options. You can also customize your tee to fit your school’s colors and mascot! Thank y’all so much for sending me requests and reading this space each and every day. It means more to me than you’ll ever know!
