dress: amazon I shoes: shein [dupe for these] I sunglasses: quay
Honestly, this post was supposed to be up in January and I was planning to show you how you can style it three ways. Well here we are, it is the end of February, and I only photographed one way. Nonetheless, it is probably the way that I actually prefer it to be! Hair in a (very) messy ponytail and a cute pair of tennis shoes.
File shopping for sweater dresses under the same category as finding the perfect pair of jeans…impossible. Especially, if you are five foot eight like me. They are either too short, too long, too boxy, too frumpy, or too thin to actually be a sweater. But not this one. This one has pockets, oh the dream! It is the perfect length, comes in a variety of colors, and is actually warm! This sweater is so cozy-it’s oversized without being frumpy.
This amazon find is one that you can style a number of different ways. I love having pieces in my closet that I can wear different ways and this sweater fits into that category. This dress hit me perfectly for my height, but if you are skeptical, I would size up one size. I paired it with my new favorite pair of sneakers and some gold earrings. If I would have done what I had originally planned, this is how I would have styled them.
Wear a sweater Dress with Flats
This is an easy way to dress up a sweater dress but still have that comfortable feeling. For this look, I would pair it with some snakeskin mules to add a pop of color. I love these.
Wear a Sweater Dress with knee high boots
The classic dress and knee high boot look, but I mean who doesn’t love it? Knee high boots can create a more put together look while keeping your legs warmer in the cooler months. This is a great look for date night or a night out on the town.
Wear a sweater dress with sneakers
If you are a more casual person, you can throw on a pair of sneakers to create a more dressed down look. Wear this to run errands or meet a friend for lunch. This is exactly what I did above and honestly it is the perfect outfit since it is still a little cool here in Texas!
