For some reason this haul was much more difficult than the last one. I want to keep doing these every month but I want to make sure that I am giving y’all things that I really love and not just finding random items. This one was tougher for me because in the spring and summer I live in cut off shorts, a tee and dress it up with some colorful accessories. This time I found myself gravitating towards dresses which is weird for me because I am not much of a “wear a dress just because kind of girl.” You will most likely only see me in dresses for a special occasion, church, or if it can be dressed down with a cap and sneaks.
While looking for things to purchase, I just didn’t want to buy whatever I saw. I wanted to make sure that it fit my style. I am passionate about sharing things that I would wear myself not just because it is what I think I should share. This haul is one that I am excited about because I found some really great items and the reviews are fantastic!
- cardigan: i am not exaggerating when i say that i have been searching for the perfect cardigan for a few years. personally, i think that it is very hard to find one that is flattering. most are too baggy and make you look three sizes bigger than what you are. i am also picky about the way that they fit in the arms. so believe me when I say that this one hit the jackpot! it is the perfect thickness, it is soft, flattering, has pockets, and is a stretchy material! i am going to order the black one soon to wear to football games when it gets cooler.
- earrings: this pair of earrings are a dupe for these bauble bar earrings that I have in red. i wish i would have found these sooner because you can’t tell the difference and they are HALF the price. of course i love the turquoise color, but i am thinking that i also need the purple for spring!
- swimsuit: swimsuits, oh how we all love shopping for them…not. one of my pet peeves is paying for the top AND the bottoms of a swimsuit. this one knocks that option out by being only $27.99 for both! i was skeptical about the high waisted bottoms because i have never worn something like this, but they actually ended up being super flattering. the top is also a great fit because it doesn’t move up or down. this is important, especially now that I will be chasing kb in the pool all summer! this swimsuit also comes in other prints and combinations. i actually have a picture on my instastories so that you can see what this swimsuit looks like on.
- linen shorts: these are probably my least favorite out of everything that i purchased just because they are a little longer than i like to wear my shorts. now, if you are someone who likes your shorts a tad bit longer, then you will really like these! they are a great quality for the price and they also come in different colors. by accident i ordered two pairs, the white pair in a small and the light blue color in a medium. the smalls were a perfect fit for me but i will warn you that the white pair is a bit see through. the light blue pair were such a pretty color but the mediums were just too big on me. i also have both of them on my insta story so that you can see the difference in sizing. i still think that these are perfect for the hot summer months and you really can’t beat the price for the quality that you receive!
- sunglasses: oh my how i love these! such a great price, come in different colors, and are fun! they are actually a dupe for these and you can’t even tell!
- dress: i think this was the item i was most excited about. just because i have seen them around and they look super cute dressed up and down. you can’t beat the price…SEVEN DOLLARS and the quality is comparable. be on the lookout to see this dress styled soon on the blog! it too comes in different colors. i really want to get the army green for fall!
- tee: i gambled on this tee when i ordered it. i saw another blogger had styled something similar with a duster, cut offs, and a vacation tee. i went searching for one so that i could recreate that look. when i ordered, all the women sizes were sold out so i ordered a mens size small and i really like the way that it fits! it is a simple tee with a clean look and soft fabric! this too is on my instastories so you can see the cut and the fit.
- jumpsuit: if you read my life lately post then you saw this pretty little thing already! this is by far my favorite item from the haul. it is so flattering and so fun! it is just a tiny bit see through but that may be avoided if you order it in a darker color or wear something underneath. for size reference, i usually order a medium because i am taller and need it for length, but the small actually fit perfectly!
- belt: i can’t believe i haven’t added a leopard belt to my closet sooner. i love this one! it really is a great quality and it has the actual hair on it instead of a print so it will add some texture to any outfit! i actually ordered a medium but i think i could have gotten away with a small!
In the future, I would really love for y’all to tell me what you would like to see. I am coming across a lot of basics like tanks, tees, and also some athelisure wear. I have also found some really great travel items, like jewelry organizers, packing cubes and sunglass cases! I am thinking I may throw these in every now and then or I can do a total travel post!
